2008 Events
The Ken Page Memorial Trust was proud to support of the following special programmes and festivals during summer 2008:
1000 Islands Jazz Festival
(May 1st - May 10th)
Jazz Workshops: Carol Welsman on May 3rd and Oliver Jones on May 10th.
Jazz Student Tutorial Programme May 5th - May 7th
The Banff Centre Jazz Program
(May12th - May 31st)
We will once again provide tuition scholarships for three Toronto musicians. Recipients names will be anounced shortly.
TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival
(June 20th - June 29th)
-- Ken Page Memorial Trust Workshop series hosted by Hal Hill in the Friends of Jazz Lounge, Nathan Phillips Square, daily at 3:00 p.m.
-- Ken Page Memorial Trust Concert Series - expanding our long-term partnership with Jazz.FM91 a new group of festival performances will be recorded for broadcast in the fall.
Prince Edward County Jazz Festival
(August 14th to 17)
Jazz Education Events: PEC Rising Young Star Award and PEC Lecture Series and Jazz Awareness Programme.
Markham Jazz Festival
(August 15h to 17th)
MJF All Stars high school student band project.
2008 Lifetime Achievement Award -
Our 2008 honoree was journalist and music critic, Geoff Chapman, who received his award on 8th April 2008, at the National Jazz Awards.

2007 Annual Review
KPMT was proud to be supporting the following events during some of our 2007 summer Jazz Festivals:
TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival
June 22 - July 1 2007
Brian Barlow Big Band - opening day concert at 12 noon on the main Toronto Star Stage
Ken Page Memorial Trust Workshop Series
hosted by Hal Hill in the Friends of Jazz Lounge, Nathan Phillips Square, daily at 2.30 - 3.30pm (weekends 3-4pm).
The Ken Page Memorial Trust Concert Series
Entering our eighth year of partnership with JAZZ.FM91, six Festival performances will be recorded for subsequent broadcast under The Ken Page Memorial Trust Concert Series umbrella.
Prince Edward County Jazz Festival
August 16-19 2007

We would like to congratulate the three Toronto recipients of the 2007 Banff Centre Jazz Programme tuition scholarships which the KPMT has funded for a third year
